What do you think is your real IQ(estimate) and why?

Or do you have no idea whats your IQ?

[sign in to see URL]

I think my real IQ is 140-145 instead of 157.

I think if I had an IQ of 157 I would not have the difficulties I have in learning science like math or physics. I think I would have more facilities with intellectual games and puzzles.

(Sorry for my bad english I hope you will understand)

@€ddy

I ask myself if it then would make sense to calculate IQ-scores at IQExams if the scores are so inflated. Because most people here are trained testees I [sign in to see URL] those who scores in the high range.

@ Benne :

From the beginning of my experience in HRT my scores have stayed near 170, so there's no peculiar practice effects.
Actually, tests on IQExams score me a little lower because of ceiling effect and variations of effort/focus on each timed tests.

If inflated this mean score is (don't know how much), then all HRT I took are and most of them are, by extension.

And this is a big problem ! emoticon

@Sezei

Yes

Do you believe that scores above 130 or 145 in scientifically recognized tests be more accurate or IQ's in that range can be measured exactly at all?

In my example was also similar from begin i scored >4s with first hr test S,t &H and Sigma test. Btw In Ls 36 I know from some interesting facts this was around 5/6 years ago that 5 from 6 people who took it with reported scores >190 sd 15 scored not higher than 22,5 raw . Interesting where is the problem ? with test ? with people ? of iq ? Probably at high and somewhere round 170 is iq very very hard to measure .....

If you keep everything else so high score -15, 2nd attempts -3% and so on, it would be interesting to see how big the difference between the Real IQ now and with the median would be.

With the median of rarities, it has to boil down to the (nearly) same as the median of the IQ - assuming knowledge about what the median is. You can easily calculate yourself how that would change the result (surprise or not, depending on one's expections), create some other examples, make an analysis and then present an informed and educated assessment - a creative and productive use of intelligence.
